| Tengwar
Sting for price support! |
Added January 26th,
2004 |
 |
|
During
the months of February and March prize support for the Lord of the
Rings TCG will get a little harder to read.
That is right, the ‘Tengwar’ version of Sting, Baggins Heirloom
will temporaily replace the foils that are normally given out as
tournament prizes.
Any DGMA Lord of the Rings TCG sanctioned tournament during the
months of February and March will be a part of this promotion. All
three of the prizes that are normally awarded (the rare foil for the
winner, the uncommon foil for runner-up, and the common foil
participation prize) will be changed to the ‘Tengwar’ version of
Sting, Baggins Heirloom.
So let's make sure that we have at
least 8 players in our tournaments in Antwerp so that they are
sanctioned!

| The
third Race ends |
Added January 4th,
2004 |
 |
|
Last
Friday saw the final chapter of the third Race to Mount Doom.
Robbe who was in second place couldn't make it, so only Robby (3rd
place) was there to try and keep Johan from his victory. Wim
and Devis joined the battle as well, but Johan got his 3 needed
victories to gain the title with a very powerful Raider deck.
So a very exciting third Race it was, and the next Race will prove
to be as exciting as we'll then be playing on the new wall mat with
the new texts (threats and initiative). We'll start this new
Race very soon, so stay tuned for details.
